Guidebook release
The time has come. The first official sport climbing guide for Montenegro is here.
After several years in which Montenegro was virtually unknown as a destination to climbers – not even the most die-hard enthusiasts – and all the information available was a hodgepodge of various online topos, I am now all the more delighted to be able to present a virtually comprehensive guide covering the whole country.
However, this website is not intended merely as a sales platform, but also to serve as a source of information and a forum for sharing knowledge for all Montenegro enthusiasts and those with an interest in the country.
The news page offers the opportunity to provide regular updates on new routes and sectors, thereby offering all travellers to Montenegro the most up-to-date information possible.
Furthermore, visitors – and route developers in particular – will be given the opportunity to share their experiences and impressions through short articles.
And as it turns out, climbing in the country is constantly evolving. Since the climbing guide went to press, countless new routes have already been established, and numerous visitors have been able to discover the country’s countless crags for themselves.
I wish all of you lots of climbing in and discovering Montenegro and hope that the guidebook will provide you with all necessary information.
If you have any comments or corrections, would like to pass on details of new routes, or wish to share any other information, please feel free to contact me at any time.
